Swimming Lessons

Gramma Betty enrolled Ian for swimming lessons and even took him.
I was very surprised at 1) how intrepid this child was and 2) how well he followed directions.



He practiced saying "Hi Kay" (the name of the instructor) on the way to the pool but when he actually saw her, he was mysteriously shy.

I'm so grateful to Gramma Betty. 1) She was the only grandparent in the swim class (very dedicated of her) and 2) she went with Ian in the evening after a long day of gardening.




























The last photo is of Ian's apres-swim snack. He ate all the nutritious gummy bears first.

Working at Cross Purposes

The buck thorn finally came down. Dadzilla did the chainsaw work. Ian was "helping."

Down the Primrose Path

Gramma Betty has a fine path dressed with darling little primroses. This was taken during Ian's evening stroll down to the pond.
