Important Moments

The littlest tiniest things that happen in the life of Ian can often be the most beautiful and memorable to his mother.

Here we were in Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Ian tripped and came running to his mom. And his mom knelt down, dusted him off and held his warm little paw in hers... and was able to comfort him, right there in the dappled sunlight.

Sigh!

Summer Reverie

Watching Uncle Steve (or as Ian calls him, "Seeve") mowing Gramma Betty's lawn.

Ian and his bunny (also known as "Marshmallow") waited patiently even though Marshmallow really wanted to be let loose in Gramma's hosta.

On the Hunt

On her latest visit, Auntie Janella was determined to find a Showy Lady Slipper blooming in the Twin Cities.

Thanks to her, we found a wonderful little gem right here in our own backyard, the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden.
